When we were young, during Lunar New Year, elders often wished us “great progress in studies,” and report cards used the word “leap” to show our effort and improvement. But as we grow older, our perspective becomes more complicated. We start focusing only on our shortcomings and forget that, in reality, every part of us is still improving.
The older we get, the more society shapes us. We begin to measure our value through status, income, and career success, while neglecting our physical and mental well-being. Very few people take pride in building a peaceful home, living a balanced and fulfilling life, or having healthy and meaningful relationships. Without realizing it, society changes the way we see ourselves.
We often hear, “Take your time, you will get there.” But real transformation is not just slow progress it is a system change, a true “leap.” When you take consistent daily action and complete even the most basic tasks, you gradually become the person you want to be. One day, you will naturally make the right decisions without overthinking.
