Trust is believing, while reliance is choosing to depend and entrust beyond belief. In relationships, people often turn reliance into dependence, placing their sense of stability on the other person. But a healthy relationship is not about one-sided dependence; it is about walking and growing together, building shared understanding in thoughts, interests, and spirit. When two people move at different paces, distance slowly grows, and the relationship becomes tiring. Everyone has a path they must walk alone, and no one can replace that. But if you meet someone who guides you, reminds you, and supports you through difficult times, that is true reliance. And if you are the one who moves further ahead, are you willing to slow down and reach back? So, have you found someone or something you can truly rely on? It may be a person, yourself, the universe, or God.
